In most situations, there are multiple sides to a story, not just two and definitely not one. Our perception of the world around us becomes our reality, our truth. Each person has their own truth because their experiences are different. Unfortunately, some people’s stories conflict with others’ stories.
As we listen to others’ stories that differ from our own, we must remember that their stories are not wrong. They just see the world from a different perspective that is equally valid and true.
